Kia ora, and welcome.
Thanks for stopping by.
I am an emerging fiction writer with a strong interest in place, memory, and the long afterlife of history. My work explores the human condition through intimate, character-driven narratives that engage with cultural displacement, silence, and emotional inheritance.
It’s my calling to explore and capture life experiences and emotions. Big or small, banal or bizarre, I tell stories designed to entertain and shed light upon the wild beasts of the human condition. I write in big, bold brushstrokes, with lots of colour and light. Writing outside the lines, I seek to entertain as well as tell important untold stories.
You’ll find some of my short stories here, along with links to many more, whether they be short, long, flash, or micro. I hope you’ll linger and have a good look around!
I’m chuffed you came to visit, but I will be even more delighted if you like my site or even take the time to say hello. If you press follow, you might even hear me squeal with delight!
Ngā mihi
Roly
